Jeffrey Goldberg, MD
Dr. Jeff Goldberg joined the Johns Creek medical community in January, 2008 with over 15 years of experience in the care and treatment of patients with ear, nose, throat and Head and Neck disorders. His fellowship education and subsequent experience in facial plastic surgery has allowed him to provide these additional highly trained skills and services to his patients and their families. Dr. Goldberg has called Atlanta home since 1993 and lives nearby with his wife Faith and their three children. He is a dedicated father and an active participant in several volunteer and charitable organizations in his community.
Dr. Goldberg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with Magna cum Laude honors. He received his medical school training at New York University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan and continued his training in Atlanta where he completed his Emory affiliated fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Goldberg’s areas of particular interest and expertise include:
- General and pediatric ENT including the treatment of ear, sinus and tonsil related disorders
- Functional and cosmetic surgery of the nose including primary and revision Rhinoplasty
- Endoscopic sinus surgery including Image Guidance and Balloon Sinuplasty techniques
- Treatment of Obstructive sleep apnea
- BOTOX and Soft Tissue Fillers
- Facial rejuvenation surgery including Eyelid, brow lift, and facelift surgery, soft tissue reconstruction
- Otoplasty for correction of protruding or prominent ears
- Head and Neck surgery including thyroid and parathyroid surgery
Dr. Goldberg has dual board certification in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Joan E. Rodriguez
Dr. Joan Englehart Rodriguez has been one of our key clinical staff members since 2007. She brings over 30 years’ experience as a clinical audiologist. A native of Pennsylvania, she graduated from University of Maryland with her Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences in 1978, and earned her Master of Science degree in Audiology from Penn State in 1979. In 2003, she received her Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from Arizona School of Health Sciences.
Dr. Rodriguez is licensed by the State of Georgia, and is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA.) Governor Zell Miller appointed Dr. Rodriguez to the Georgia State Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Dispensers from 1991-1997. Her greatest professional interests include adult and pediatric hearing disorders, and adult balance disorders.
Dr. Rodriguez makes her home in Duluth, Georgia, with her dog and several cats. She has two adult children, a son in Atlanta, and a daughter in St. Andrews, Scotland. Dr. Rodriguez enjoys sports, especially college basketball, walking, reading, and travelling to the beach.
Leah Reynolds, PA-C
Leah Reynolds is a Board Certified Physician Assistant, with experience and expertise in the care and management of both adult and pediatric ENT patients. Leah completed her undergraduate degree in General Studies, with concentrations in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.
After completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Texas Tech, Leah was recruited by The Mayo Clinic, Department of Otolaryngology, in Phoenix, Arizona where she gained in-depth ENT experience in the diagnosis and treatment of the wide spectrum of ear, nose and throat disease, implementing patient treatment plans, and monitoring the effectiveness of therapies. After four years at Mayo Clinic, her family relocated to Virginia, where Leah worked in a private ENT practice. In 2011, she moved with her family to the Atlanta area. We are delighted to welcome Leah who brings this wealth of experience to her position as Physician’s Assistant at our practice.
Leah loves spending time with her husband children. She enjoys the outdoors, and is an avid hiker and jogger.
Amy Joy, RN, CPNP
(Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner)
Amy is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of experience in the care and treatment of pediatric ear, nose and throat patients. We have enjoyed having Amy as an essential member of our clinical staff since 2005. Her warm personality and professionalism put both children and parents at ease.
Amy is a graduate of Clemson University, receiving her BSN in 1995. Before completing her post graduate training as a Nurse Practitioner, Amy worked as an RN with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in several specialties, including surgery, orthopedics, neurology/rehabilitation, dialysis, and kidney and liver transplants. Amy obtained her Master’s degree in nursing from Georgia State University in 2001.
A native of the Atlanta area, Amy lives in Smyrna with her husband and three children.
